I was asked long ago, around the time my new wife and I announced our plans to move to California sometime in 2008, to keep a blog in the fine tradition of my dad, so that loved ones, friends and mortal enemies could keep track of our goings-on. I doubted then as I doubt now that my own version of the esteemed Father Allen tradition will possess an ounce of the original’s wit, insight or knowledge of car parts, but I will humbly proceed nonetheless. Special mention should go to Brendan Corcoran, who was kind enough to furnish me with this domain and run the website for me.
Unfortunately, I’m at work right now, so this is just a warm-up message, but expect more in the near future. Also, the subtitle beneath “Rew’s Blog” will change every time I post. Just for giggles.
